TAXPAYERS FOOT NASHVILLE JUNKET
DAY ON THE HILL 2013

The Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA) sponsored a breakfast and Day on the Hill on February 20, 2013.
The majority of Loudon County Board of Education board members, and school director traveled to Nashville to meet with state
elected officials about pending legislation and public education. According to travel records, the board and director's combined February travel expenditures was $1,517.95 and $295.26 respectively for a total of $1,813.21. The lobbying junket was paid for compliments of taxpayers.

Appointed Directors of Schools: TSBA supports the appointment of the director of schools by the board of education and opposes any measure to revert to the process of electing superintendents.
