LOUDON COUNTY JAILER FIRED

TV and print media reported that Loudon County Jailer Michael Wilson was fired for sexual misconduct.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and District Attorney Generalís Office have been called in to investigate the allegations made by a female inmate.
Michael Wilson had been employed for 5 years.
The Loudon County Jail has come under scrutiny for overcrowding conditions.
Females inmates were photographed in an over-crowded, and male inmates have been pictured sleeping on the floor.
The same article reported that one cell block houses all female inmates. Thirty-one percent (31%) of female inmates comprise the jail inmate population.
