Principals and Assistants named for new School Year


New Principals named: Mary Hill (R) named to Philadelphia Elem., Tiffany Ratledge (M) Fort Loudon Middle and Joey Breedlove (L) Greenback School.

Jason Vance named as 6-12 Instructional Supervisor

At Thursday’s Loudon County Board of Education meeting, School Director Edward Headlee announced the names of four new school principals for the upcoming school calendar.  Headlee named Scott Mackintosh as the new Principal of Steekee Elementary. Kim Bridges will serve as assistant principal.


Headlee introduced Mary Hill as new principal of Philadelphia Elementary School; Hill succeeds Kevin Gentry. Hill held the positions of assistant principal and guidance counselor of Philadelphia School before her promotion. Angela Bright will be the new assistant principal.


Tiffany Ratledge was named as new principal of Fort Loudon Middle School. She served as assistant principle and she replaces Donald Williams. Jeremy Lorenz will serve as assistant principal.


Joey Breedlove, who served as assistant principal of Greenback School, will now succeed Jerry Masingo as new principal. Lori Guillemet will be the assistant principal of Greenback School.


Headlee announced that Jason Vance was promoted to 6-12 instructional supervisor. Vance was principal of Loudon Elementary and he replaces Dr. Ramona Best who has accepted another position at another school system.
