Board approves Director's Evaluation & Rating
BOARD TAKES NO FURTHER ACTION VIDEO CLIP

At the Feb. 9th Loudon County Board of Education meeting Chairman Scott Newman gave an update on school director's Jason Vance's evaluation.
At the Feb. 2nd workshop meeting, the board heard a 40-minute PowerPoint self-evaluation presentation from director Vance. The evaluation form
was distributed and completed by the board, and returned to the director's office for tallying.
Mr. Vance done a 'beautiful job' presenting his..." Newman paused as he tried to finish his sentence.
"I guess, his points to the board. His overall rating was three point nine." Three added Lisa Russell. "Three point nine three over the whole rating.
There's actually no action... needs to be taken at this time other than the board wants to approve,accept the final average and final rating."
I make a motion that we approve it said Lisa Russell, second said Bobby Johnson, Jr.
All board members voted Aye, and Craig Simon was absent.
Three days later, a public notice appeared in the paper after there was no public discussion to extend the director's four year contract.
